How To Apply
Virtual Open Day
We held a virtual open day on 9th July to discuss the borough, the IT service and the roles in more detail. If you missed the session you can watch the recording here.
Informal discussions
If you are interested in a particular role and would like to discuss it further with the relevant Head of Service, you can request an informal decision here.
Application
To apply please follow the link against each individual role, providing an up to date CV, explaining any gaps in employment, and a supporting statement (max 2 pages) explaining what you would bring to the role and how you meet the essential criteria detailed within the person spec.
You will be asked to complete some diversity monitoring information and certify your right to work in the UK. You will need to provide details of two references. References will only be contacted for successful applicants
Technical Assessment
Longlisted applicants may be asked to complete a timed, written assessment, submitted via email. Full information and instructions will be provided to candidates reaching this stage
Interviews
Virtual interviews will be completed via Microsoft Teams
Successful candidates
We will contact successful candidates to offer the role. If you accept the offer we will begin to process your appointment and contact your referees.
Unsuccessful candidates
Longlisted and shortlisted candidates can request feedback if unsuccessful.
Longlisted candidates (those who completed a technical assessment) will be offered concise and constructive written feedback.
Shortlisted candidates (those who completed an interview) will be offered a short de-briefing video call with the recruiting manager.
