About You
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can challenge the way we work and encourage us to view things a little differently. People who can create positive disruption to our, sometimes too comfortable, views, visions, policies and procedures. You should be a self-starter, with the resilience, tenacity, and integrity to break down silo-style working and foster collaboration and innovation across IT services.
We don’t want to pigeon-hole you; you don’t need a public sector background or years of experience in the industry. We want you to bring some key skills and a fresh, positive approach. We’d like you to identify a service gap and to use your ingenuity to fill it. We’ll encourage you to experiment and we’ll support you to learn from your mistakes.
It goes without saying that we’ll need you to work well with others. Beyond this, we’d like you to inspire and motive, sharing your passion for results and encouraging bigger and greater achievements. Our service should be trusted to deliver across the Council, we’re getting there but we need your help to embed this view.
