Fire Safety Recruitment

We are delighted that you are interested in joining our Fire Safety team.

Following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower in 2017 there has rightly been increased scrutiny of the safety of tall buildings across the country. With well over 1000 residential buildings above 18m the London Borough of Tower Hamlets has the second most tall buildings in England and ensuring that all these buildings are safe is a crucial task, which involves a whole range of stakeholders.

Our multidisciplinary Fire Safety Team work with the Department of Levelling up Housing & Communities, London Fire Brigade, Greater London Authority, London Councils, freeholders, developers and managing agents to ensure fire safety across the residential sector.

We have a number of roles available and are currently seeking Building Control and Environmental Health Professionals to join the team. If you are committed to ensuring buildings are safe, are motivated to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, are keen to make a real difference to people’s lives and want to work in London’s most exciting borough, we want to hear from you

Best wishes
