How to apply

Selection process stages

Our selection process is in two stages:

  1. Shortlisting of applications
  2. Interview shortlisted applicants

We may add a longlisting stage for specific roles if we have a large number of applications. The purpose of the longlisting stage would be to determine the shortlist of candidates we will take forward to the interview stage. The longlisting stage would involve the completion of a timed, written assessment, which would be completed remotely. Full information and instructions will be provided to candidates at the time if this applies.

Your application

To apply please follow the application link on each individual role advert.

Each role has a detailed job description and person specification, which are published on the advert for the relevant role. The person specification sets out the criteria we use to assess applicants.

It is important that in your application/supporting statement you address all criteria that are marked with the letter A in the person specification. The letter A indicates that we will use the criteria to shortlist (and longlist if we need to) candidates. You should provide examples of how you meet the criteria.

You will be asked to complete some diversity monitoring information and certify your right to work in the UK. You will need to provide details of two references. Referees will only be contacted for successful applicants.

For business reasons, we may withdraw vacancies included in this pack. If we do so, we will let applicants know as soon as possible and we would remove them from our portal.

The deadlines vary between different roles so please check the individual roles for closing dates.
