Assistant Leasehold Alterations & Subletting Officer
We are currently recruiting into the role of Assistant Alterations & Subletting Officer to join our Leasehold Services Team to help deliver an effective and timely service dealing with leaseholders’ alterations applications, sublets and assisting in taking relevant actions in enforcing the lease in relation to unauthorised alterations and prohibited subletting.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is committed to the very highest standards of customer care. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, organised, have an eye for detail, and be committed to delivering a great service to residents at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing alterations applications in line with Council’s policy
- Investigating reports of unauthorised alterations and illegal subletting
- Undertaking regular scheduled and unscheduled property inspections
- Initiating lease enforcement actions in conjunction with the legal team in relation to unauthorised alterations and illegal subletting
- Delivering a proactive, high-quality customer focused and efficient service to customers at all times
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, lease, and council’s alterations policy
- Attend evening meetings as required

The service currently requires a minimum of two days working in the office (subject to change).

The interviews will take place on 16 October 2025. An exercise will be part of the interview.
