- Leading financial planning, modelling, and forecasting for complex service areas.
- Managing a small team and delivering high-quality financial insight and reporting.
- Supporting the Council’s Medium-Term Financial Strategy and annual budget process.
- Playing a key role in closing the annual accounts and ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience.
- A confident communicator who can influence and challenge at senior levels.
- A collaborative leader who can inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
