This role is a 12-month Secondment Contract. It is a part time role for 3 days per week.

About the role
The Debit Controller plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the councils accounts receivable processes. This position is responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining accurate financial records, and fostering positive relationships with clients. The Debit Controller will analyse payment patterns, manage accounts, and implement strategies to reduce overdue accounts. Additionally, they will collaborate with various departments to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role
