Full-time – 35 hours per week (9am – 4:30pm, Mon to Fri. Flexible working required with some weekend working)

Gorsefield Rural Studies and Outdoor Activity Centre is seeking a proactive and visionary Educational Programme & Centre Manager to lead our operational team and drive excellence across all aspects of our service. Set in 7.5 acres of beautiful Essex countryside, Gorsefield provides unforgettable outdoor learning experiences for children. This is your chance to make a real difference in shaping their development.
What You’ll Bring:
● Exceptional Leadership Skills: You will lead and motivate a dedicated team, including catering, housekeeping, and activity staff, ensuring the highest standards in service delivery.
● Operational Expertise: Your ability to manage site maintenance, housekeeping, and activity provision will ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all visitors.
● Organisational Acumen: Strong planning and administrative skills will help maintain efficiency in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth scheduling and timely communication with schools.
● Commitment to Quality: Your passion for continuous improvement will drive service enhancements and ensure an outstanding experience for every visitor.
● Customer-Focused Mindset: With a strong understanding of customer service, you’ll ensure children, teachers, and families have a memorable stay.
