Are you the Trainee Solicitor we’re looking for?

We are looking for two Trainee Solicitors in our Legal Department.

We are a busy legal department and we pride ourselves on providing an excellent service.

The department’s work covers Contracts and Commercial (including Property and Planning), Litigation, Safeguarding (adults and children) and Governance. Trainees will be required to rotate between teams during training.

We offer training and support in all the areas of work.

This is a fixed term contract, for 18 or 24 months (depending on SRA requirements). If you are eligible for a six-month exemption from the SRA you will be expected to apply for it.

If you have the LPC or SQE1 and are looking for qualifying work experience to qualify as a solicitor, then we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

To work with the Legal Assistants and lawyers in each area of work:

·       Undertaking routine casework

·       Liaising with external and internal professionals

·       Providing routine advice

·       Undertaking routine advocacy

·       Drafting documents

·       Undertaking administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• The ability to work flexibly and at pace.
• You will have passed the Legal Practice Course or SQE1.

The application deadline is the 25th January and interviews will be held from the 10th February.
